Environmental portraiture consists of photographs taken in the natural setting of the subject. Unlike studio photography environmental portraits are taken where the subject feels comfortable and encourage more natural expressions and poses.
They can be used for professional purposes for example, to accompany a news story, as the cover of your CD or on the jacket of your book. They can also be used for personal reasons such as engagement photos, senior pictures or gifts.
